The Capes Lighthouses
Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse is one of the most scenically spectacular places to visit in the Margaret River region of Western Australia, and there’s plenty of history there too! This is the extreme south-western most point of the Australian continent, and the point where the Indian Ocean meets the Great Southern Ocean – a bleak and windswept.
Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse (built in 1903) and surrounding headland, are popular attractions in the Capes region of WA. The lighthouse was officially opened to the public on 22nd November 1986, and is known as an excellent vantage point, especially in whale migration season.
